Day 1
Vancouver / Kamloops / Clearwater
Your guide will meet you at your hotel this
morning for the journey to Clearwater. Route
follows the agricultural region of Fraser
River to Hope, through Coast Mountains to
Kamloops. Overnight Clearwater Dutch Lake
Motel or similar.
Day 2
Clearwater / Jasper
Explore Wells Gray Provincial Park and see
acclaimed Helmcken Falls. Excellent views of
Rockies and nearby Mt. Robson as they rise
to meet you; several wildlife viewing
opportunities today. Overnight Jasper,
Tonquin Lodge or similar.
Day 3 Ice
Fields Parkway / Lake Louise / Banff
Travel famous Ice Fields Parkway, view
Athabasca and Dome Glaciers plus spectacular
(ice blue) Peyto and Bow Lakes. Overnight
Banff High Country Inn, or similar.
Day 4
Lake Louise / Banff
Enjoy the beauty and stroll shoreline of
Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, take a
mountain walk to famous Lake Agnes Tea
House. Return to Banff for optional tours
(Gondola ride), remainder of day at
leisure. Overnight High Country Inn, or
similar.
Day 5
Yoho and Glacier National Park / Rogers Pass
/ Shuswap Lake
Travelling west on Highway 1 (Trans Canada)
you leave Rocky Mountains to discover
Glacier National Park and through historic
Rogers Pass in Columbia Mountains. Shuswap
Lakes, boast a thousand kilometres of
shoreline in the heart of BC. Overnight
Quaaout Lodge or similar.
Day 6
Whistler
Travel the Caribou Highway, famous as part
of Canada’s gold rush route. As you near
Whistler, the up-close views of Coast
Mountain Range are spectacular. Site of the
next winter Olympics Whistler village is fun
with street cafes, bars and great bistros.
Overnight Village Inn, or similar.
Day 7
Whistler / Vancouver
Spend a day in Whistler! Time to enjoy
shopping, exploring the village, ride the
gondola (panoramic views) or go helicopter
flightseeing. Return to Vancouver along the
epic Sea to Sky Highway with drop off at
hotel by late afternoon.
Optional activities available on this
trip: White water rafting, canoeing, boat
tour, horse riding, gondola rides,
helicopter flightseeing, golf.
Tour price
includes: 6 nights accommodation with
private facilities in moderate / first class
hotels and comfortable lodges. Minimum of
one dinner, four picnic lunches or
breakfasts (depending on weather), Jasper
tour, Banff tour, hotel pick up and drop off
in Vancouver. All park fees, taxes, guiding,
transportation by air conditioned minivan.
