Bell II Lodge

Introduction:

A sanctuary in the scenic wilds of central British Columbia, Bell 2 offers the finest accommodation on the Cassiar Highway. A top heli-ski destination the lodge has a great reputation in the hospitality industry and is a recommended stop for summer travellers. Sports fishermen will be excited with the steelhead fishing opportunities. We include the lodge typically in summer self-drive itineraries heading to Yukon and Alaska via ‘The Cassiar Highway’. Deluxe rooms, good restaurant plus spa facilities make this a must for long haul holiday makers.

Location:

The lodge is located on km 248 Cassiar Highway. Nearest airport is 48km - Bob Quinn Lake (no scheduled air service). Terrace is closest airport with regular schedule flights and rental car facilities. Highway travellers will appreciate the Cassiar Highway is fast becoming a much improved route. The gravel surface is being replaced with black top – and the route is already drawing considerable traffic from the Alaska Highway. All which makes Bell II an important overnight destination.

Amenities:

Bell II Lodge facilities include: sauna, outdoor hot tub and exercise room.

How to get there:

The best way to get to the lodge is by car. You can drive from Terrace or Watson Lake. You will need to drive the Cassier Highway which is maintained by state but partly gravel.

Accommodation:

20 large, deluxe rooms with either 2 Queen beds or 1King size bed. Families are accommodated using Queen beds and roll away cots. All deluxe rooms have fireplaces and wood is provided free. The two standard rooms do not have fireplaces.

Activities:

During winter months the lodge is home to one of Canada’s most prestigious heli-ski operations. In summer Bell 2 offers visitors sport fishing and hiking enthusiasts will find trails locally.
