The Rockies & The Inside Passage

Travel through the Canadian Rockies by schedule van/Motorcoach transportation and then board VIA rail for an unforgettable journey from Jasper to Prince Rupert. You continues with BC ferries through famous Inside Passage and fly from Port Hardy to Vancouver. A great journey to see the most beautiful places of Canada's West. 

Itinerary:  

Day 1: Calgary arrival:
Transfer to your hotel in Calgary downtown on own. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in downtown Calgary.

Day 2: Calgary to Banff:
This morning you will board the motor and travel to Banff. Rest of day at leisure. Visit the Fairmont Hot Springs, take the gondola up to Sulphur Mountain, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies (not included). You will have a 360^o view from the upper gondola terminal, there are other viewing decks and the Summit Ridge interpretive boardwalk. Overnight in Banff

Day 3: Banff to Jasper:
This morning you have more time to explore Banff. In the afternoon (at approx. 2:30pm) depart in a comfortable full size motor and start your travels along the Icefields Parkway (please note that the Motorcoach will make scheduled pick up and drop off stops along the route). Overnight in Jasper.

Day 4: Jasper:
Today is at your leisure to explore Jasper and Jasper National Park. Optional excursions are offered such as guided hikes and glacier hikes, Miette Hot Springs and wildlife tour and river rafting tours. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 5: Jasper to Prince George:
This morning board VIA rail. You will be comfortable settled in a reserved spacious seat in a Panorama car. These cars are fully glass enclosed for maximum viewing, providing an unbeatable view of the passing scenery. Lunch and dinner are included today. You route follows the famous Fraser River. In the evening you will arrive in Prince George where you will stop and overnight in a hotel.  Overnight Prince George.

Day 6: Prince George to Prince Rupert:
Your rail journey continues west to the coast city of Prince Rupert. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Arrival in Prince Rupert in the evening. Overnight in Prince Rupert.

Day 7: Prince Rupert to Port Hardy
Another exciting day awaits you when you travel through the Inside Passage on BC Ferries today. Watch out for whales and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery. You will depart very early from Prince Rupert and arrive late in Port Hardy. (cabins on the BC ferry are available on request and not included). Overnight Port Hardy.

Day 8: Port Hardy to Vancouver:
Sleep in this morning and in the early afternoon fly from Port Hardy to Vancouver. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight in Vancouver (Included is a hotel near the Vancouver Airport.)

Day 9: Vancouver - departure:
Transfer to the airport on own for your departure or start additional program
