Vancouver Island Explorer

A fascinating destination and with a myriad of
attractions you could say Vancouver Island has
it all. Contrasts range from young vineyards to
the rugged Pacific Rim coastline and from luxury
hotels to ocean whale watching trips. We have
taken the most interesting highlights of
Vancouver Island and packed them into just 7
short days! Of course you can stay longer, take
a boat trip, visit another guest lodge or plan a
trip to the popular Saltspring Island. So
important is the cuisine of Canada’s west that
we feel you can’t have just one gourmet trail –
there are many and this is a favourite.

Day 1: Victoria - Arrival
Provincial capital and a great place to start
your vacation; here an engaging mix of old and
new, British and Asian, colonial and New World

at the Empress Hotel while a few blocks away you
can discover the fragrances of China. Colourful,
charismatic and scenic, everyone loves Victoria.
