Discovering The Vineyards of Canada's Okanagan

Wine enthusiast’s self-drive journey

The success of Western Canada’s wineries is a best kept secret and not surprisingly little known outside the country. Here the small, friendly wineries, often family operated are like a breath of fresh in North America’s wine industry. You will be able to talk to the experts, taste the wines and tour the wineries. More than just a wine tour, this is one of our gourmet trails and we’ll point you in the direction of all the best restaurants. Like Australians and New Zealanders, Canadian’s are passionate about their wine industry and this itinerary opens the door to an intriguing selection of wineries. Okanagan travel distances are comparatively short while wineries are often close together. You will love the hotel, and with no great distances to drive staying in one place makes sense. On the scenic byways the pace is leisurely and there is always time to stop, taste and explore.
