Rocky Mountaineer services three routes. The
Kicking Horse Route, the Yellowhead Route and
the Fraser Discovery Route. The Kicking Horse
Route takes you from Vancouver to Banff or
Calgary via Kamloops or vice versa. The
Yellowhead Route takes you from Vancouver to
Jasper via Kamloops or vice versa. The Fraser
Discovery Route takes you from Whistler to
Jasper via Quesnel or vice versa.

Mountaineer
Whistler, now the hottest
destination in western Canada. Chosen as the
site for the 2010 Winter Olympics, it’s

the Whistler Mountaineer rail service; just sit
back and enjoy the Sea to Sky route.

trans-continental rail line. Your journey
continues northbound on the Icefields Parkway to
Banff and Jasper. Enroute you will visit
Columbia Icefield and have plenty of
opportunities to spot wildlife. After a full day
at leisure in the mountain town of Jasper you
will board again the Rocky Mountaineer and
travel westbound back to Vancouver.
